Teen Idol by Meg Cabot

Teen Idol by Meg Cabot

Significance:
I care about this book because; it has helpful tips that can help you through the decisions you make through your life. It’s important because it catches my attention it gets me into the book because there are only certain books I will read like books that I can relate to my life so it could actually be important to me.

Perspective:
I think the author probably got from her experiences in high school to make the book, because it’s just about a girl in high school who is like the “mayonnaise” she gets along with every one and because of that she is like the schools unofficial consular. Every one goes to her with their problems and she solves them you learn new things like probably your going through the same or it might help you in the future and it gives the person who has the problem in the story and to you, too.

Evidence:
There are three problems going on:
• One of the students stole the teacher’s favorite doll that she treats like her daughter because she never had kids. And, the main character, Jen has to find a way to get it back. So the teacher won’t get to upset.
• Jen has to keep a secret from the school that Luke Striker (a famous celeb.) is going to stay for a few days.
• Jen has to help a girl who is like a wannabe because she is destroying herself to hang out the popular kids.

Connection:
This connects to the real world because you should always try to help out others. There are other problems that people go through every day and helps then out or if you ever are going to go through that problem it’ll help you out in the future.

Supposition:
If I would have changed part of the problem then it wouldn’t have ended how it did, eventually every one found out Luke Striker and one of Jen’s friends gave him his number and they fell in love, Now if no one found out about Luke Striker they wouldn’t even have met.
